Thirty years after the Berlin Wall fell under the pressure of peaceful protests, Vermont author Kerstin Lange embarked on a bicycle expedition along the once-deadly border between East and West Germany.
Lange tells the story of her journey and of the border itself – the impacts of the Iron Curtain on the people and the land.
